Customer Review: Invaluable kitchen tool in a small package

I've had this roaster about 4 months now. I use it for pot roast (outstanding), baking potatoes (outstanding), pinto beans (outstanding), roasting chicken (yep, outstanding). It's small, it doesn't heat up the kitchen while in use, cooks very quickly and easy, easy to clean. We like it so much, we bought a second one just in case this one ever dies. I bought my son one, (my daughter won't learn to cook but my son-in-law will love his) and I'm giving several of them as Christmas gifts this year. Great appliance.

Meats and poultry go directly into its nonstick-lined, enamel-on-steel insert pan (12-1/4 by 8-3/4 by 4-1/4 inches) for roasting. Soups, stews, chili, corn-on-the-cob, and other vegetables also go into the inset pan. Doughs and batters for baking breads and cakes must go into another pan, but then that pan can go into the insert pan. The roaster oven's temperature control can be set as low as 200 degrees F for warming and as high as 450 degrees F for baking.
